New Oil-penetrating Ink Linx 1062

Linx Printing Technologies has expanded the range of Special Adherence Inks. Company introduced a new ink formula that meets the challenges of coding onto oily surfaces.

Ink 1062 oily steelLinx Black oil-penetrating ink 1062 is able to print effectively through light layers of oil. It works for a wide range of substrates, including plastics, metal, glass and waxy surfaces. Linx 1062 ink also provides good adhesion on Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) and other plastic films. It makes it ideal for a variety of industrial and food applications. 

Ink Linx 1062 is compatible with the full range of Linx 8900 CIJ printers.  Linx 1062 ink is an MEK-based ink with a drying time of up to two seconds. It is able to adhere to substances with an oily or greasy film to deliver reliable long-term code durability.

Ink 1062 foodInk offers excellent contrast and legibility on transparent and pale coloured materials. 1062 ink is able to resist a range of oils including engineering cutting fluid, petroleum and kerosene. Its heat-resistant properties also ensure good code legibility after autoclaving or cooking processes. Typical applications are light engineering, automotive, aerospace, wax-coated PVC cables and all types of metal components. Also it works for canned food and packaging film for flow wrap. Linx ink 1062 is perfect for pouches and bags in meat, bakery and confectionery food sectors.
