Linx Process Specific Inks are purposefully designed for coding and marking of products in more challenging applications, where the substrate is subjected to additional processes e.g. where the printed code needs to change colour or be removed, steam sterilisation or chemical washes.

Linx does not manufacture inks or solvents for any other supplier. Our fluids are tested extensively during their development, and are manufactured according to strict specifications, resulting in a high level of quality assurance. There is ample evidence that the use of non-Linx inks or solvents in Linx printers can affect printer reliability and lead to costly repairs and production line downtime.

SPECIFICATION

  • Linx Black UV-cure ink 1370 – a fast-drying pigmented ink which has increased solvent and abrasion resistance.  Requires curing with a UV lamp. 
  • Linx Black wetness-indicator ink 2040  – a specialist ink developed for the baby/adult diaper markets.
  • Linx Black alkali-removable ink 1070 are able to be water- -resistant when dry, can be removed with detergent or dilute alkali.
  • Linx Black alcohol-resistant ink 1075 withstands alcohol and other chemicals, commonly used to wash electronic components. It is also ideal for packaging of alcohol-rich products, such as perfume and spirits.
